Victim of his own anger, the child (Prince) is a Minneapolis musician who increases with his band, The Revolution, who escapes a home life tumultuous through music. While trying to avoid making the same mistakes as his father truculele (Clarence Williams III), the child sails on the club scene and a rocky relationship with an attractive singer, Apollonia (Apollonia Kotero). But another musician, Morris (Morris Day), tries to steal the baby’s spotlight – and his girlfriend.
